Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Robin & Jesper LTD (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about you (“you,” “your”) when you use the website available at expertbuilt.com and any related services (collectively, the “Service”).

Robin & Jesper LTD is a private limited company registered in the Republic of Cyprus under company number HE 396002, with registered office at Evagora Pallikaridi 38, 8010 Paphos, Cyprus, and VAT identification number CY 10396002I.

1. Scope

The Service is operated by us. We market the Service primarily to users located in the United States. By using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide

When you use the Service, we collect the information you submit through the website generator form. This may include your business name, the type of service your business offers, your geographic area, your email address, and other descriptive information you enter about your business. We use this information to generate and deliver a preview of your business website and to follow up with you by email.

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit the Service, we and our third-party providers automatically collect information that may include your IP address, browser type and version, operating system and device characteristics, referring URL, pages viewed, click events, session duration and scroll behavior, approximate geographic location derived from IP, timestamps of interactions, and advertising and analytics identifiers such as Google Client ID and Meta browser ID.

2.3 Cookies and similar technologies

We use first-party and third-party cookies, pixels, web beacons, session-recording scripts, and similar technologies (“Tracking Technologies”) to operate the Service, analyze its performance, and deliver advertising. The tools we use include, without limitation:

  • Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Google Tag Manager (Google LLC)
  • Microsoft Clarity heatmaps and session recordings (Microsoft Corporation)
  • Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API (Meta Platforms, Inc.)
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Corporation)

Each of these providers processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy and terms. Disabling cookies in your browser may limit our ability to measure or personalize the Service, and some functions may not work correctly.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To generate and deliver the website preview you requested;
  • To send you the preview, setup instructions, and related communications by email;
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
  • To analyze usage and measure marketing performance;
  • To deliver targeted advertising and retarget visitors who have not converted;
  • To track referrals to our affiliate partner, Bluehost, LLC, for commission attribution;
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • To comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and establish or defend legal claims.

3.1 Email communications

When you generate a website, you provide your email address so we can deliver your website and the setup information you requested. These are transactional messages. We also send a short series of follow-up emails encouraging you to get your website online; these are promotional. Every promotional email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can stop them at any time by clicking it. Unsubscribing ends the promotional emails; we may still send transactional messages relating to a website you have generated. For how we share information with advertising partners, see Section 4 (Disclosure of Information).

4. Disclosure of Information

We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. However, our use of advertising and analytics partners (described in Section 4.3) may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under California and other U.S. state privacy laws. See Section 7 for your choices. We disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:

4.1 Service providers (processors)

  • Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA - website hosting and request processing.
  • GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P Kelly Jr St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA - source-code repository and build logs.
  • Resend (Rebel Sky Inc.), 2261 Market Street #4667, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA - transactional email delivery.
  • Anthropic PBC, 548 Market St PMB 90375, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA - AI model inference for generating website previews.
  • Pexels GmbH - image search API.
  • GoDaddy.com LLC, 100 S Mill Ave, Tempe, AZ 85281, USA - domain availability check.
  • Upstash Inc. (United States) - temporary storage of generated site content.
  • Microlink Technologies S.L. (Spain) - screenshot generation of generated website previews for email delivery.

4.2 Affiliate partner

  • Bluehost, LLC, 5335 Gate Parkway, Jacksonville, FL 32256, USA — receives click and conversion information when you follow an affiliate link from the Service, which Bluehost uses to attribute referrals and calculate our commissions.

4.3 Analytics and advertising partners

  • Google LLC (United States) — Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager
  • Meta Platforms, Inc. (United States) — Meta Pixel, Conversions API
  • Microsoft Corporation (United States) — Clarity
  • LinkedIn Corporation (United States) — Insight Tag

These partners may act as independent controllers or joint controllers for their own purposes, which can include building interest-based profiles. The sharing of browsing information with these partners may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under certain U.S. state laws. See Section 7 for your choices.

To measure the performance of our advertising, we share certain information with Meta through its Conversions API. This includes a hashed (irreversibly scrambled) version of your email address, your phone number where provided, and limited location data (your city and state). Hashing converts the information into a coded string before it is sent, so Meta does not receive your email or phone number in readable form. Meta uses this to match activity to a Meta account for ad attribution. Under certain U.S. state privacy laws, this may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, and you may opt out as described in Section 7.

4.4 Legal and safety

We may disclose information to comply with lawful requests from public authorities, to enforce our Terms of Service, to protect our rights or the rights, safety, or property of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

5. Retention

We retain lead information (form submissions, email addresses, and related communications) for a period of up to twenty-four (24) months from collection, unless a longer retention period is required by law or a shorter retention period is requested by you. After that period, records are deleted or anonymized. Analytics data is retained in accordance with each provider's default retention settings, typically fourteen (14) to twenty-six (26) months.

Website preview screenshots generated via Microlink are cached for up to 24 hours on Microlink's CDN and deleted thereafter. Copies stored in Vercel Blob are retained for up to 30 days.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights in respect of your personal information:

  • Right of access
  • Right to correction
  • Right to deletion
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to restriction of processing
  • Right to object to processing
  • Right to withdraw consent, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing based on consent

To exercise your rights, email support@expertbuilt.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will respond within the time required by applicable law. For CCPA/CPRA verifiable requests, we respond within forty-five (45) days and may extend by up to forty-five (45) additional days when reasonably necessary.

7. Your Privacy Choices (California and other U.S. states)

California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”):

  • Right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and share;
  • Right to delete personal information we hold about you;
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information;
  • Right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising;
  • Right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that would trigger this right;
  • Right of non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

To exercise any of these rights, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising, email us at support@expertbuilt.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share.” You may also designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf; we may require verification of the agent's authority.

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by compatible browsers as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information.

Residents of Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), Oregon (OCPA), Texas (TDPSA), and other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws may submit equivalent requests through the same contact address.

In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have “sold” or “shared” (as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA) the following categories of personal information with advertising partners (Google, Meta, Microsoft, LinkedIn) for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising:

  • Identifiers (IP address, device and browser IDs, cookie IDs);
  • Internet or other similar network activity (browsing and interaction data);
  • Inferences drawn from the above to build advertising profiles.

We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under sixteen (16) years of age.

8. Children

The Service is intended for adults eighteen (18) years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 18, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You use the Service at your own risk.

10. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no industry standard for responding to DNT, the Service does not currently respond to DNT signals. We do respect Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as described in Section 7.

11. Third-Party Links

The Service contains links to third-party websites, including bluehost.com. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third parties. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of every website you visit.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will post the updated version with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated by email to users who have provided one, where required by law.
